Feeding Your Morkie
The Shocking Truth About Commercial Dog Food
The more I read about our commercial pet food today, the more I was shocked, appalled and yes, downright ANGRY!
After all, I’ve been a small dog owner for more than 30 years and I thought I knew all about the “good” foods. Aren’t they the ‘big brands’ that we all know and trust?
Turns out I was wrong. Very wrong.
The pet food industry is everything that’s wrong with advertising. The industry is shady, sketchy and more than a little dishonest. Why? MONEY! In the United States alone, annual pet food sales are approximately 20X bigger than baby food. In 2016, we bought nearly $8,000,000,000 of what’s mostly garbage. That’s billion with a ‘b.’
“Get ready for a shock when you see what’s in your pet’s food. You could be poisoning your own dog!”
Feeding your Morkie: the shocking truth about commercial dog food is a comprehensive look at the way you can feed your Morkie right.Including the NAMES of brands of commercial foods that can literally poison your Morkie! Take a look at the table of contents, right here.
Just check out a pet food label and see how it’s designed to confuse us. Unless your Morkie is a vegetarian, you’d expect to find meat in his food. But not so fast… When it comes to the source of protein, there are several things to remember.
- there’s “meat”
- there’s meat by-products, and
- there’s “meat meal”
By-products are the polite word for sh*t you wouldn’t consider eating or feeding to your pet. Chicken by-products for example, include beaks, feet, the head, bones, intestines and even some feathers that stick to the rotting by-products.
Again, if the source of meat by-products isn’t named, the nightmare doubles. Meat by-products is made up of disgusting parts from unknown or mystery animals. At least beef by-products, for example, come from cattle, despite being parts your don’t think can be food.
Bottom line, avoid by-products. And especially avoid the vague term “meat by-products.” That’s just one of the many tips you’ll read in this no-nonsense book.
This e-book is just $7.00 for the peace of mind that you’re feeding your dog the best possible food. You’ll read about what’s on the market today – and what’s behind the pet food industry’s curtain of shame.
